Dorking Choral Society DCS is a non-audition amateur choir of around 90 voices. The choir sing to a high standard under the direction of a professional Musical
Director and Accompanist. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings throughout the year except July and August.
The choir usually performs three concerts every year. Repertoire ranges from 16th century to contemporary music. DCS has a long association with, and habitually participates in, the Leith Hill Musical Festival, founded in Dorking by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
We warmly welcome new members to the choir and encourage anyone with an interest in choral singing. While choral experience is valuable, a love of singing and a desire to learn is more important and we do
not audition new members. You will be introduced to a Part Rep who can help you find the right Voice and place in the Choir.
